Canadian Lawyers Launch Celebrex Lawsuit
According to a CTV Television News report, "A Toronto law firm has launched a $1.5 billion class-action lawsuit against Pfizer on behalf of all Canadians who took Celebrex."
The statement of claim reads in part, "The plaintiff submits that the defendants were negligent in the design, testing, advertising, marketing, promoting, labeling, warnings given and sale of Celebrex".
The lawsuit also claims that Pfizer (the makers of Celebrex) should have known the drug would cause physical harm.
